Structural Health Monitoring of Seismically Isolated Bridges

This project investigates reliable methods in order to deduce or backfigure equivalent linear dynamic (or modal) properties for seismically isolated systems (in particular bridges) from various sensors such as accelerometers and/or LVDTs.

The bridges can exhibit a mild-to-strong nonlinear behaviour during their dynamic response.
